Default nova question?

I just picked up a 1 owner 72 ralley nova and it has bucket seats console and 3spd auto floor shift with rubber floor mat..I thought bucket seats would have been the dlx interior therefore u get carpet?

There was a 'standard' bucket seat cover, along with a 'deluxe'. The standard cover was fairly plain. I can see it having a rubber mat, whereas the deluxe interior option would get the woodgrain door panels, carpet, fancy upholstery, and more.

I parted out a rusty '72 SS a few years ago that had the standard buckets, standard door panels, console, and scraps of rubber floor mat. There was no carpet.

sounds kinda unique deluxe and standard bucket seat covers i learn something new everyday ,i have the build sheet would there be a code for the standard covers or was there just a universal bucket seat code? thanks.

751 & A51 ?

In '72, when the bucket seat style changed to the integrated highback version, GM offered up buckets both in a standard interior and deluxe interior. There was different upholstery for each version.
