Default Day 2, Accel dual point distributor

Accel dual point distributor. I have no way of knowing how to date this. Included a pic of the model and serial #'s. This one uses regular GM V-8 points, so it can be adjusted with the car running.

Cap is damaged, but I believe they are still available.

This came off of a running car some time in the 80's, so I know the cap is usable as is, but I wouldn't trust it. I have no idea how long it had been on. Very little wear. Rotor included (forgot to take a pic with the cap off).

Twenty five bucks shipped in the lower 48.

This unit does not have a vacuum advance, and I don't believe there is any way to put one on. Guess that made it an "off road" piece.

Just email if you need pics from any other angle.

Lynn

Absolutely.
Lots of aftermarket race type distributors have no vac advance.

Oh yeah. My Chevelle has the distributor locked out. Which means there are no weights, etc. in the unit. I have the balancer advanced on the 32 degree mark and then drop the distributor in on number one. I have 32 degrees timing at all times. You just need to add a start retard box and you are good to go.

My Mallory doesn't have a V/A. Initial timing is 22* with a total of 36*.

Seriously, where are all the "day two" guys?

OK, $5 plus actual shipping. i believe it will fit in one of the medium priority boxes, so that would make shipping about $12.

I guess I could pay you to take it. I just need some room guys.
