Bill,
If the master cylinder you are looking for is for a disc brake car, the stamped code would be BA, not CN.
A lot of guys for 70 disc brake cars assume their master cylinder should be coded CN as well because their buildsheets call out CN in box 68. 70 masters are coded BB. CN is actually an assembly code for the master and booster together. The only CN code should be the cardboard tag attached to the vacuum hose at the check valve on the booster.
