The water pump & crank pulley line up perfect, I bet the alt pulley is wrong. If I read correctly you said the correct alt pulley would pull the belt forward 1/4" ??

It sits off the fan face about a 1/4".

Ill try the repop. I have some old alts laying around. I can get an old fan off of one of them. Is the 1100837 fan different or are they all the same? ![]()

I bought a couple of new fans from GM. They aren't quite the same as the original one but don't cost much.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
