I would maybe only post the last 3 digits or so of your vin. I wouldn't be real comfortable having my whole vin "floating around in cyberspace" via this internet...
You might end up with a match, might find someone who has the block.. Just my suggestion... Rich

Send the vin to Kurt with the Camaro Research Group ([email protected]) they have quite a database as well as an orphans section. I sent the vin off of a 396 block I had and re-united it with the original camaro. It was a 68 as well.
