PJ,
The 1111074 is the TI distributor for 1966 L72 full size and the 1966 396/375 Chevelle's. The one you have is a service replacement. The original factory issued ones were cast iron.

Thanks for your input
I read all the info on this topic and now I am more confused than before to re install the TI distributor for my 68 Camaro. I have the dist, the coil, and the amp. I also have the original wiring harness It would look BOSS if I reunite it with the car after 40 years. BUT am I going to have a trouble free system or will it be a temperamental nightmare I now have the original distributor with the Petronix electronic ignition. It works great. PJ |

I think some places offer a modern conversion done to the amp because that was the weak spot. I think there was a place called TI Specialty but their website is down now so I don't know if he is still in business.
