Ok, so are they factory installed on some cars, or over the counter items, or just speedshop parts ?

-----Just speedshop parts, but there was a creditable rumor out there that a few GM engineers (Pontiac guys, I think) did the initial design. Someone will correct me if Im wrong. Had a set on "Red Alert" but there was also a bunch more thought in the rear suspension than just the Hop Stops in my instance......Bill S
