1969 Chevelle parts

1 Attachment(s)
I got these with the SS396 I bought three years ago. It was a factory 4-speed that had been converted to automatic. I believe these are some kind of rearendparts but have never seen them on a car.
Does anyone have a pic of how they are used ?

They are no hop bars. They are used to move up the upper control arms. They bolt on the housing webbing.

Ok, so are they factory installed on some cars, or over the counter items, or just speedshop parts ?

-----Just speedshop parts, but there was a creditable rumor out there that a few GM engineers (Pontiac guys, I think) did the initial design. Someone will correct me if Im wrong. Had a set on "Red Alert" but there was also a bunch more thought in the rear suspension than just the Hop Stops in my instance......Bill S
