This one falls in line with the L89 Nova and 70 L78 TH400 Camaro threads.Just think if we had actual production records then we'd be bored to death like the mopar and Ford guys

Personally i'm from Missouri on all of em.People were doing all kinds of swaps when the cars were only a couple of years old, then thirty years later our memories burn it into total conviction that's the way it came from the factory because nobody would bother doing that to a car back then.

I agree many were doing swaps in those years but no one makes a mess like GM when they install a 4 spd floor hump nor would anyone take the time to install the worst 4spd cross member mounted muncie shifter ever produced not to mention hook up a complete column reverse lock out system.
Only Gm does that

how about the LS6 1970 El Camino...oh wait that does exist. and dont be so sure on mopar guys being bored to death. we dont have production #'s on our options 1969 and earlier. plenty of ghost stories with the mopar guys. could you imagine trying to prove the legitamacy of a 66 4 door hemi Coronet nowdays? only 4 of them built.

There is at least one Govier/GTS documented Hemi Wagon.

'66-'71 Street Hemi Wagon? Or '62-'65 Race Hemi Wagon ala the Max Wedge wagons they just referenced (and displayed one unrestored one) in the new HOT ROD magazine?
