Default Re: Turbo Blue Racing Fuels

A few years back, (when I actually drove the car) we drove to SuperChevy/Indy. I started out with Turbo Blue in the car. When we stopped for fill-ups along the way we usually had to pop the trunk for the girls to get 'something' out of their bags. The trunk was always hotter when there was TB in the tank. Even began to notice the temp difference in the Exhaust tips. I guess the difference in the SG of the fuels could account for the amount of fuel pushed through the system. I don't recall tracking the MPG with the different fuels though. It was so bad it really didn't make much difference! 10 - 12 at best, and it usually hung around the 8 - 9 range. Running 4.10 gears, a TH and an 11:1 454 at 70 - 75 MPH wasn't the best choice for a road tripper.
