Nah, it was one of Vic Edelbrock's four original prototypes. That thing has spent more of its existance in machine shops than installed in an engine bay. Charley puts a great spin on the design and fabrication of these old pieces that hits the head on the nail. They just don't compare to today's Al blocks.
The actual repair work by Taylor's was outstanding, though. You can't even tell there was a chunk missing. I'll see if I can post a pic that shows the repaired area... JB
