Great stuff!
Ironically, Fireball Roberts was badly burned in a 1964 crash and died of pneumonia in the hospital several weeks later. Joe Weatherly died at Riverside in 1964 when his Merc slid hard into the wall and his head actually hit the wall. From this crash came the window nets we see today.
