Good to hear from you. The car will be pretty amazing when done. As you can guess, I just had every component stripped and e-coated. There is a firm here that neutralizes in 16 different steps to avoid later corrosion. It has been a long, long process. Three years for Whitmore to build the engine, tranny by Mike Miles, and the restoration being done by Gary Thurlow (LS6 convertible and Hemi Cuda' stuff). Should be done in 4 to 6 months and you can definately have it back for the right price ![]() I got a $6K bill for the strip and e-coat and thought it was a bit steep. I should have saved this kind of restoration for a Ram IV or a '71. Could be one of the best when done.
