I'm aware of the 69 overlap into the 70 production cycle,but has this particular distributor been documented between any two known exact useage dates among the 69 Camaro contingent?
What puzzles me is if they ran out of #480's,why not just go back and make more #480's instead of coming out with a completely different # for the same application that does not apply to anything else later on?
Or is it possible they just stamped a number 3 over an already made #1112002 distributor for convenience...can you look closely at yours?
GM shared Delco #'s as well & I don't see this distributor no. appearing in any of the old Delco-Remy parts books either.
