While we are at this, I recently saw a document that covered
the different GM torque converter designs. Did any of you know ( at least according to this document ) that the angled slashes "/" around the perimeter of the converters indicate the applications. According to this document, some slashes are 45 degrees to the right and others are less than 45 degrees. Still others tilt to the left at some set number of degrees. I am going to try to get a copy ( or image ) of this document and post it here. Evidently, the slashes denote SHP vs std vs truck applications. Does this ring a bell for anybody? Buelher??????
