They sell an alternative set that say SS on them.I have a set on my 67 chevelle SS and they are metal not plastic! Look nice in my book.

Be careful here...modern American Torq Thrust caps are a bigger pattern than the original American wheels of the 60s-70s. They aren't interchangeable. You need small pattern old style caps (American does still produce these) for the original smaller hub opening in the original wheel design, and the modern shorty billet style will only fit modern wheels. The SS, GTO, Ford, and other variations are all based on this new bigger diameter cap and are for use on new wheels only.

I know it's a subtle difference that's often only learned after buying the wrong set of caps.

Generally speaking, newer Americans use taper seat lug nuts like steel wheels use and big pattern center caps, while original 60s-70s Americans use mag shank nuts w/ washers and small pattern center caps.

Thanks for the reply,I have the newer style Torque thrust ds.I am kind of leaning toward the orignal style caps.

And, in my experience, these caps needed their screw holes enlarged slightly so that they'd fit the old wheels.
