I would like to respond to the issue of the casting date and the engine stamp being one day apart.Being a corvette guy, I've seen this before in engines produced in Tonawanda. If you reference Alan Colvin's Chev By The Numbers {1965-1969] page56, you will see that its possible to have the same casting date and engine stamp on the same day. Notice on that page, the engine stamp and suffix code is applied at Tonawanda during the assembly line build up. And, if you think it takes longer than a 8 hour shift, the you have never visited a GM plant.

yes as I said he authinicated the car that includes engine seats and all else and he said that it was the right motor we are getting smog stuff corect alt and dist for it and a few things to check on he said thats all it needs and was really impressed to see origional interiour unmolested car this well kept
