Marlin Could a 1970 Super Sport Nova get these Body side Mouldings? Would these be the very same body side mouldings of which you just asked about & won yesterday? |

This car has chrome molding around the front and back windows. Is this what you are speaking of? The roof drip molding is chrome also.....

RP; Yes, SS's could certainly get these moldings - my car included since I have a 3 on my trim tag. (See pic b4 I bought it!). Body side moldings are the ones I was asking about previously.
Chi-The molding around the windshields is standard on all Novas. This number on the trim tag only relates to the moldings referenced above.

Isn't A2 the Custom Exterior Trim package? Fake louvers, double lower trim, bright trim around the door and rear quarter window and the cast pot metal panel between the tail lights?

chitown;
Welcome to the site. Here is what this decodes to: SEQ 364 = The order the car went down the Fisher Body line the day it was on the trim line. MO 04 = April DAY 10 = 10. This car went down the Fisher Body line Friday April 10th or 100 Julian. Style 11427 = 2 Door Nova only has nothing to do with engine. See VIN for that. PLT WRN = Willow Run Fisher Body Assembly Plant Body Number 273514 = The 273514th body assigned to Fisher Body at Willow Run in the 1970 model year. As noted on the trim tag. Trim 732 = Black Bench seat as noted on trim tag Upper Color 58 = Autumn Gold as noted on trim tag Lower Color 58 = Autumn Gold as noted on trim tag PP 4 = Unknown at this time Box 1 A02 = Tinted Glass - windshield only Box 2 A04 = Tinted Glass - Side windows Box 3 A05 = Tinted Glass - Rear window Box 4 Blank Box 5 Blank Box 6 B84 = Body side molding with black insert Box 7 B90 = Bright door and window frame molding Box 8 Blank Box 9 Blank Box 10 M20 = One of the flavors of 4-speed manual transmission (M20, M21, or M22) Box 11 Zl3 = SS Body Conversion Deluxe (taillight panel with S.S. and Black SS Steering wheel) remember that Fisher did not do the front clip Chevy did. The rest of the SS badging was done by Chevy. Box 12 ZJ = Should be ZJ1 Custom interior package (because of the buckets) Box 13 ZJ5 = Exterior Decor Package Box 14 1 = Is the first of a 4 number work order number used internally by Fisher Body Box 15 041 = the rest of the work order number 1041 Interesting to note is the blanks in Boxes 4, 5, 8, and 9. Greg R. PS can you post the code from the passenger side rear axle tube?

A side note, the combination of numbers in boxes 14 & 15 equal the number on the bottom row of the trim tag.
