I've been tracking this one, Rick..........
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...A%3AIT&rd=1 It's the real thing, but rough. Luckily, I don't need it, but I'm curious to see where it ends up. |

Dual Snorkel (one year only) 1970 LS-6/L-78 Camaro/Chevelle
air cleaner..........another sold last weekend for over $2800. Sky is the limit on this one as well. These air cleaners were so restrictive (Ive recently experienced a 70 L-78 Camaro speed run) its no wonder that most owners replaced them with something else......remarkable how 35 years later, that a small but consistent supply surface on EBAY. Hi Bill,
I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Luckily for me though, I had been on the hunt for those since I had my last zit, so I am well stocked with enough to filter my cars for my future... ![]() But now if someone can find me a REAL LEGIT (not "made") '62 380hp breather, with screen for the A96C oil soaked element, I'd summon Moses to help me part my wallet flaps. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks again for thinking of me. ![]() Verne |

WOW…… Hear is another one, Chuck also listed the same unit. I would guess this is a good
thing if you are looking to buy one. These should sell for a realistic Price. I still cant get over that $6000 Air Cleaner. I want to see the car that it was purchased for…. ![]() http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-chev...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-Cama...1QQcmdZViewItem

-------Orange County Chopper is high bidder on that second air cleaner. They were also big bidders on that blue-light stereo with 8-track set-up awhile back. Wonder whats up with that. I know the old man likes cars a bit but I wouldnt have thought they would be into correct restos, as I dont think they are into original Harleys at all........Bill S

Bill S, I'm curious if EBAY "Orange County Chopper" is in fact PAUL from the Discovery Channel TV show. I would be very much surprised to find that to be true. With the windfall of cash that he must be pulling in, he would be a prime turnkey B/J buyer..........

Unless Paul flys in from Connecticut to tape the shows,I would think it's not him.
