The same Seller sold one of these a couple of months back. Very difficult to find and very pricy.

I've been tracking this one, Rick..........

It's the real thing, but rough. Luckily, I don't need it, but I'm curious to see where it ends up.

Dual Snorkel (one year only) 1970 LS-6/L-78 Camaro/Chevelle
air cleaner..........another sold last weekend for over $2800. Sky is the limit on this one as well. These air cleaners were so restrictive (Ive recently experienced a 70 L-78 Camaro speed run) its no wonder that most owners replaced them with something else......remarkable how 35 years later, that a small but consistent supply surface on EBAY.

Verne,

-----I have a replacement filter (non-AC) new in the box for this AC. Also fits full size tri-power Ponchos, some, Olds, and some Caddys. Its on E-bay right now,but would sell it for $50.00. Its a nice piece. Brand name of "Lee". Looks like an AC filter........Bill S

Re: Dual Snorkle A/C-Ebay

Hi Bill,
I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Luckily for me though, I had been on the hunt for those since I had my last zit, so I am well stocked with enough to filter my cars for my future... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif
But now if someone can find me a REAL LEGIT (not "made") '62 380hp breather, with screen for the A96C oil soaked element, I'd summon Moses to help me part my wallet flaps. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/shocked.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Thanks again for thinking of me. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

WOW…… Hear is another one, Chuck also listed the same unit. I would guess this is a good
thing if you are looking to buy one. These should sell for a realistic Price. I still cant get over that
$6000 Air Cleaner. I want to see the car that it was purchased for…. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Re: Dual Snorkle A/C-Ebay

-------Orange County Chopper is high bidder on that second air cleaner. They were also big bidders on that blue-light stereo with 8-track set-up awhile back. Wonder whats up with that. I know the old man likes cars a bit but I wouldnt have thought they would be into correct restos, as I dont think they are into original Harleys at all........Bill S

Re: Dual Snorkle A/C-Ebay

Bill S, I'm curious if EBAY "Orange County Chopper" is in fact PAUL from the Discovery Channel TV show. I would be very much surprised to find that to be true. With the windfall of cash that he must be pulling in, he would be a prime turnkey B/J buyer..........

Re: Dual Snorkle A/C-Ebay

Unless Paul flys in from Connecticut to tape the shows,I would think it's not him.
