A friend of mine called to buy this car. He contacted the party that bought it from MLM and was told 60k would buy it.

That's why it pisses me off when a dealer gets a hold of a classic, it's all about the money, not about the hobby!

I hate seeing this to. This car should go to someone who doesn't have $$$ in his eyes! It would be nice to see the investors go elsewhere.

guys, guys, guys...it was for sale on the open market and anyone could have bought it..is the guy that bought it and took it to Ore supposed to sell it for less than he bought it for???...even if it went to a private party he sure as heck is probably not going to sell it for what he paid for it less than a week later unless he got in trouble once home...dealers or private parties its about the money wether you want to admit it or not...heck I think the stats refer to me as blue collar worker..I don't like it anymore than the next guy it makes it real hard to work/own the cars when you are running a Schlitz budget..not one of us is going to take a valuable car and give to another member or the open market for less than they paid for it unless the market went belly up...and that day does not look like its coming anytime soon...get them while you can...they are not made anymore is what a major car guy told me years and years ago...and to be honest he is/was 100% right....One Adam 12 One Adam send back-up to Bothell Wa....flame away....

unfortunately we need money to pay bills and live on....love and peace and the good of all does not spend for didly around here........

Trying to make a 15K profit on a car that was just purchaed yesterday is just wrong. I can see trying to make a couple thousand off the deal, but 15K, I don't think so. JMO

Interesting...car bids to $55K immediately, then takes a week to inch up to $58,100. Buy It now comes in mid-auction at $59,500, then dropped to $59K even the last day or two. But nobody pulls the trigger for an extra grand or so?

I can't tell if they're shill bids (feedbacks I saw looked legit), or if there's just several people who got bidder's remorse before breaking reserve.

As I said, very interesting.....
