Ralph, you can buy a Hurst Competition Plus shifter and the install kit, they still make them. Make sure you specify bench or bucket w/console. The oem Muncie shifters were junk, but if you want to be tricky get an old muncie handle cut and fit to hurst shifter. That way you have the best of both.Tom
