So what your saying is, that when you bought a brand new set of Hurst mags, in 1967 or 1968 (anywhere in that era) from Taylor Pontiac, Geneva Ohio- you didn't get a "Hurst Equipped" emblem with them? I would beg to differ on this one. Or, are you saying "Hurst Wheels" did not come with that emblem- NEVER. (I swear, I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Monica.) I know the "Hurst Hustler" decal you are talking about- real chincy looking, saw it on the back of a '65-15K original at the POCI Nats., but guess what-NO HURST WHEELS, NEVER HAD 'EM, (JUST A FLOOR SHIFT). Maybe Pa. Dealerships would not give you one-but I bet if "we" cried long enough, "we" could have got one, from the service manager!!! LOL- Because those dang mags cost sooooo much- "we" should get something with them!!!LOL I know, I would want one.

Also for the record, the wheels did not come with a hurst equipped emblem. they came with a hurst hustler decal

Mark's Nova deserves these mags, probably better than any GTO on the planet. Due to the fact that the Nova, actually had some part of the assembly process done at Hurst. No GTO that I'm aware of was ever built or finished "AT" Hurst. Do you have a set on your "JUDGE"? -Or do you want to buy Mark's- sorry not for sale. "THE JUDGE CAN BE BOUGHT", but the mags can't!!! LOL Don't get mad, just having some fun! The JUDGE says, "NO BAIL"!!! Ram Air IV is still bad a$$, 370hp, sweeeeeeet!!!

The person you need to talk to is the Horner family, I'll send you a PM with the details when I get a chance to dig them out. They are really nice people, and I'm sure will get some more pics for ya if the others can't be located.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looking forward to the info. Can't wait, it'll make a nice Sunday road trip. Thanks....again for everything!

[/ QUOTE ] Greg, let me get this right, while Marks car has nothing to do with this,[Its a beautiful car] your saying its more deserving to have the hurst mags than any other gto??? What about the 65 hurst riverside pace car?? the 65 tiger gold hurst givaway car? any royal bobcat cars?,64 test car? BIll shultz ra v car?? what are you saying? Id rather se them on a true hurst car if anything. 70-72 ssj's,68-69 hurst olds even the swinger bee! Hell lets throw in the 70 1/2 Z28 sunroof car. If you read the hurst heritage book, theres no mention about anything to do with the deuces. And they show you some crazy stuff hurst was involved with. As for what your saying about the wheels, i never heard of any dealer selling them. you bought them at speed shops and other auto stores. and ive had a couple of new sets in boxes [later] and the early ones in the can and there was no emblem in with them! Did you know that emblem wasn't even made till after they stopped producing and selling the wheels? This is getting out of hand now. I dont know why everybody is blowing this hurst thing out of control. AND ITS NOT BECAUSE US PONTIAC GUYS ARE UPSET OVER OUR SACRED HURST WHEELS! Ive had hurst wheels on every car i own and yes they are on my judge!!!!!!!!!! Dont get upset! Im just having fun with this subject.

What kind of wheels were on the giveaway Nova ad, you know, the one with the little slot machine picture? These wheels can go on any car!
