Tom, that is correct, the same procedure was true for the '70 Novas and their wheel change. Even though Yenko installed the Magnum 500 wheels on the Deuces, the spare rim was the factory issued XT painted body color. Yenko was a business man first, no sense giving away an extra rim per car, that would be an extra 175 Magnum wheels he would have to buy - approximately 44 sets of them!!

I was in college in Pittsburgh in the late 60's and I can remember seeing wheels and motors for sale in the Pittsburgh Press Classifieds.
On the Tire, I just found a 15' Firestone Wide Oval (white letter) I guess it's wrong for a spare, but I guess I'll use it anyway! |

There was no 9737 option for the Stinger Corvairs. They had COPO options 9513A for the 3.89 ratio (50 cars) and 9861E for dual master brake system (all cars).
