Keith...that is interesting.
When I needed my 837 Alt. restored,I considered swaping out the guts with an 834.I was going to do it myself.I called JP in Georgia,when he said not to do that.He said there are more differences involved in that alternator,as I stated above,and that I should send it to him to be correctly restored internally.Now maybe he was just trying to make a sale,only cost me $85.00 back then,but I believed him.
