Appears to be a non-repo "square-on-point" mesh design with the heavy welded gauge wire as called for in the 1969 Camaro Legends Judging Manual, 2nd Edition.

Here is my supposedly original air filter out of my 70 Z28. 05C car. It has 12 indentions on top and bottom.
