The turbo 4 has been the base engine in 1500 series pickups for several years now. These engines have been around long enough for any bugs worked out and improvements to have been made that they shouldn't be having catastrophic failures like Steve's daughter experienced, that's inexcusable.
I would demand a different replacement vehicle.
