Does anyone know how thick the block plate is , I was thinking it is supposed to be an 1/8” thick ?

I bought this scattershield awhile back from a gentleman from this site. nos that had been in his garage he never used it. it came to me in its original box with blockplate and hardware. the blockplate was bare metal and is 1/8 of an inch thick. going in next weekend
