So.... It went better than expected! Found a fitting. It was a bulkhead heater hose fitting made by vintage air part number 34236-vug. Bought at Summit for 19.00 + shipping. It is a 5/8 fitting, but the 3/4 went over the "fat" end which is used for the hose stop.

Graeme (NorCam) sent me some great pics on where to drill the hole. (Thanks Graeme!) Drilled with a unibit. Also drilled the top for the cotter pin with a 1/8 bit.

Installed a 90 deg fitting on the valve cover. I have to find the box with all the valve cover fittings so this plastic one was used for mock up till that box is found. Cut in the 3/4 heater hose. Installed in less than an hour.
