No original motor I'm afraid. Was swapped (probably as a core) by his Dad before most people thought it was a big deal. On a related note, owner now regrets sending the other 4 original YW 14x6 Rally's off attached to a 67 Chevelle he sold a while back.

If by chance the original motor is not available. Would it be a bad thing to go the Ken Tibor route and drop in a LS motor? This would be the perfect Hot Rod tour car.

The YW wheels are easy to get. I just picked up a 350/300hp engine out of a 69 Chevelle 4 speed for reasonable money. They show up in classifieds several times per year.

Love this car.

Phil - You love this car and you've already purchased a correct engine for it? I'm no mystic, but that seems like fate to me.....

SOLD. A very nice guy from Portland, OR saw my Craigslist ad and bought it. He plans to keep it just like it is, he loves it. Anyone who was thinking about this car, I think you missed out-owner told me today was the first time the car had been in the rain since 1980......
