Budget depends on the car, condition and how much documentation the car had before/during/after restoration.
Over the past few month I've seen a few '66 Chevelle 300's, they have made it high on my list. I was to slow in pulling the trigger, especially on this one:
RK Motor's 1966 Chevelle 300. It sold in 1 day. This is a perfect example of what I'm looking for. Before/after pics, clean restoration with high-end performance parts.
Show me a car that wasn't junk to begin with, a well-documented restoration and the finished product, we can then talk budget. Not saying I have deep pockets, but I'd rather pay extra for a great build, originating from a car that didn't need all new aftermarket panels, sheet metal work/body filler and was built with performance in mind.
