DeLorean came up with great concepts. He championed cars he thought would be both successful and noteworthy for GM. He was a visionary. But he didn't &quot;design&quot; anything. Guys like Bill Collins and Ben Harrison were involved in that and putting it under John Z's nose. But he knew great design when he saw it and that was his strength.
