WIW 72 Monte Carlo BB Survivor

This is a very nice survivor w/84k org miles, original top, int. and paint, loaded with options, POP and build sheet and yes it has a few things replaced under the hood and everything works, what do you think the fair market value is? I did a search and found a few SB cars listed at $17k-$19k.

This would make someone a great cruiser with A/C, 2.73 posi, disc brakes, M40, tilt, P/W. This is a 2 owner car, the 2nd owner bought it in 1977. If someone has interest send me a PM.

Nice Monte Carlo; I'm a big fan of the 70-72 generation.

I like it! Looks like it sold new about 30 miles from my current PA address!

Bench seat, column shift kills it. Max money for these cars is in the buckets/console versions, so keep that in mind

Is that in the period when, if you ordered a "400" you might get either the SB or BB version?

I think I have to agree with Tracker on this one. Buckets and console make that car a whole lot more desirable (in my opinion). Money-wise, the estimates above probably are a little high compared to actual amounts of money changing hands. If those are "auction results", then deduct 8-10% on the net amount the seller receives. Usually, those auction results INCLUDE the buyer's premium (fee) when they are listed.
And, Unreal, I think the ordering guide spelled out the different engines by code, so the selling dealer would've/should've known a BBC code vs. a SBC code.
And I always liked those Montes, too. Had several and they make a GREAT riding car with a nice set of shocks, springs, tires.

Mr. Delorean designed some nice cars before he became a cocaine cowboy
