How much brighter are they? Is there a unit such as candle power?

I could barely see in my old Chevelle at night, this may be the answer for my Olds?

I won't have to worry about a deduction as I plan to put lots of miles on her:-)

Bias-plies and dim lights (etc.) makes for a genuine, old-school driving experience!
