I will cheerfully pay 1000.00 or even 2000.00 and even more more for any lead that leads to the purchase of a desirable car. As long as I get the information before already knowing about the car and know about the finders fee prior. I will also pay a finders fee for anyone that turns me on to any parts as above. The better the deal I get, the better the fee paid.

Friend of mine has a 335hp 427 and trans he is thinking of selling. He pulled it from a loaded 69 Caprice before he crushed it. Yes, crushed. Crushed me as well. He had someone offer a $1000 for it but I told him to hold off.

I would think a good 427 engine and TH400 trans...even though they are not the hi-perf versions would be worth more than a grand...assuming they are in decent shape and can be rebuilt. Both are easily upgraded for performance..
