Hi all,
I am looking for a build sheet in an early July build Kansas Chevelle. I pulled the plastic backs off the seats and no luck so far. Are these sometimes hidden between the cover and foam? Wondering if it is worth my while to remove the seat covers. Thanks! |

Chances are slim that you will find anything.....but since you`ve gone that far....might as well look. I personally have never found one between the cover and foam.

Most of the Kansas built 69's that I have heard of (including mine) have the sheets glued to the inside of the front fenders.

I've had two Kansas City 69 Chevelles, neither had a build sheet.

Have you checked behind the backseat bunting & in between those seat springs?
How bout under the rear deck cardboard? Behind the 2 door panels,ft. side floor vent panels,& rear seat side window panels? The headliner, the kick plate behind the brake pedal, under carpet and on top of or under floor sound deadner? Don't rule out the dashboard. Both inside the pad & on top of the radio too. |

I would try looking above the gas tank if it hasn't ever been disturbed. Possible it might be there.

Thanks folks. Nothing ventured nothing gained, I suppose.... The car is pretty much in pieces so most of the suggested areas are N/A.
