Yeah, I know whatcha mean about getting tattooed! This older guy "Ron" with his Cranberry Red convertible '70 Chevelle SS454 absolutely left me in the dust. But before the race I asked him "Are you running the juice?" Looked over at me and "No!" Ok, so we get to the stop light on Roosevelt Blvd. Light turns green and I smoked him off the line. Shit, next thing you know he's cruising past me like I'm standing still...wtf??? He lied to me about not using nitrous! [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/thumbsdown.gif[/img] Needless to say my '70 RS went down but I know if he was running just his motor my 406 small block would have made toast of that Chevelle! I currently own a 1969 Camaro SS350. Although the original drivetrain is long gone, this 4/speed car has a March '69 HC coded block with #041 heads. The transmission is an M20 Muncie #660 case and the rearend is a BS coded 12 bolt posi. Built in Van Nuys. |
