[ QUOTE ]
I have three steel wheels off a 68 Malibu with disc. brakes, and I can't seem to find the wheel code on the rim. There is what appears to be an upside down A to the left of the valve stem on all three, but I see nothing else. The wheel are black and have never been touched. I need one or two more of these rims, but with out a "code" I am lost on what to ask for. Thanks! Randy ![]() [/ QUOTE ] If your not worried about correctly coded wheels, all you need to know is size and back space/ offset, I'm gonna say you need a 14x6 or 14x5 wheel if it's a base Malibu, the backspace I'm not sure of for that year. To get the backspace, lay your wheel face down on a flat surface, put a straight edge across the wheel and measure down to the center hub, that'll give you your backspace. Then you can just look for 14 x6 with a - backspace.
