Question: Steel wheels off a 68 Malibu with disc.
I have three steel wheels off a 68 Malibu with disc. brakes, and I can't seem to find the wheel code on the rim.
There is what appears to be an upside down A to the left of the valve stem on all three, but I see nothing else. The wheel are black and have never been touched. I need one or two more of these rims, but with out a "code" I am lost on what to ask for. Thanks! Randy https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif |

Randy, they are possibly JK coded wheels. The code is on the inside and you can't see it with the tire mounted. They should have a 6()A3 around the valve stem and two little "bumps" right above the valve stem.

To get the backspace, lay your wheel face down on a flat surface, put a straight edge across the wheel and measure down to the center hub, that'll give you your backspace. Then you can just look for 14 x6 with a - backspace. |
