[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] You know I cant sit idly by and not say anything about this car. I know this car intimately. I know this car was restored with the best nos parts and the workmanship was second to none. The car now represents what GM put together right down to the original fueline bracket. It certainly is a great looking 70 L78. PJ [/ QUOTE ] ![]() [/ QUOTE ] my intention was to point out that the $72000. that was bid for the car a L78 was cheap in my opinion. I have no interest in the car or no intention of promoting this car under any cicumstances nor am I interested in promoting the car to anyone The reason I say that because these cars are as rare as hens teeth and the restoration was second to none as I have seen this car up close many times..I do not want to get involved with the personalities involved and politics.Just the restoration of the car. 72k cheap for a L78 car?? Thats huge money to me in the current market. I think that car would have had a hard time bringing that a couple of years ago especially with the problems the car has. They are rare but have never seemed to bring the big dough. IMO
