Deepgroove Alternator Pulley

Rick,

Does this pulley have the # stamped in the pulley and "AI"? I can't see it in the photos. We are building a '67 Z28 engine now for a customer and I need some parts including this pulley. Let me know.

No part number was ever stamped on this pulley at all.
I have seen both type of pulleys as original equipment from the assembly line.
More then one manufacturer perhaps?
This one came off a Vette.
I was tempted to hammer it down,but thought that I would do a terrible job peening it back w/o the proper tools and it would look erratic.
I purposely took pictures in direct sunlight to show more details.It looked more defined then the overhead room light,I hope others agree.

I've had luck taking that type of ding out of steel pulleys by setting them on a wood board with the ding overhanging. Then take a hard piece of wood and set it on the ding and hammer it. The wood won't damage the metal like a hammer. This one might need a bigger hammer.
