An original used #3829387 AI single Deepgroove Alt. pulley.

Re: Deepgroove Alternator Pulley

Rick,

Does this pulley have the # stamped in the pulley and "AI"? I can't see it in the photos. We are building a '67 Z28 engine now for a customer and I need some parts including this pulley. Let me know.

Thanks,

Jerry

Re: Deepgroove Alternator Pulley

No part number was ever stamped on this pulley at all.
I have seen both type of pulleys as original equipment from the assembly line.
More then one manufacturer perhaps?
This one came off a Vette.
I was tempted to hammer it down, but thought that I would do a terrible job peening it back w/o the proper tools and it would look erratic.
I purposely took pictures in direct sunlight to show more details. It looked more defined then the overhead room light,I hope others agree.
