I've seen both combos in my travels. There is both aluminum and cast, but I haven't been able to ascertain what goes with what car/engine combo. My best bet has always been to restore the unit that came off of the vehicle. Just when I think that I have a year or application nailed down, Saginaw boxes tell me somethin' different.

Casey did a fantastic job on the box for my Chevelle.
Speaking of which, Casey, I just recently figured out what happened to my old pitman arm, so I need to send you a pitman arm back. My apologies for your inconvenience, it wound up being a brain cramp on my part. ![]() Could you email me your mailing address again? Thanks. Eric |
