[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] A friend of mine had a Canadian built 300 HP 350, 4 speed, console, gauges, tach, 12 bolt posi and had to SS clone it to get the money out of it. [/ QUOTE ] Huh You mean to say that he really tried and failed to sell the car as a numbers matching, Canadian documented original Malibu with a 350/300, M20, buckets, console, gauges......and was able to make more money on it after spending $$$ to convert it into an SS396 clone? That's a bit hard to believe, unless the ultimate buyer was not made aware that it was a clone. [/ QUOTE ] The original motor was broke bad. He had it for sale and no takers so he cloned the car as a SS. He was upfront about the car being a clone and still sold it to the first person to look at it.
