Default Re: 1969 Chevelle Malibu Question

[ QUOTE ]
A friend of mine had a Canadian built 300 HP 350, 4 speed, console, gauges, tach, 12 bolt posi and had to SS clone it to get the money out of it.

Huh You mean to say that he really tried and failed to sell the car as a numbers matching, Canadian documented original Malibu with a 350/300, M20, buckets, console, gauges......and was able to make more money on it after spending $$$ to convert it into an SS396 clone? That's a bit hard to believe, unless the ultimate buyer was not made aware that it was a clone.
