Default Re: TI distributor

#263 was an over the counter ball bearing race distributor with a list of around $1700. I think it also came with a ZL-1 crate motor. MSD made these obsolete but it`s still a good piece although there aren`t too many parts that interchange with the Corvette TI. You can put an ohm meter on the dist to check the magnet, I believe the range is 500-700 ohms. The amp is another story as they were quite troublesome, the Corvette vendors have a replacement board with 2000 technology, well worth the $125 or so....or you could use the distributor with an MSD box & coil.

DITTO!
They're not MSD's but they work darned well, especially when you consider GM's TI system is nearly 50 years old. I loved mine on the street & on the track. As previously stated keep em' cool and keep em' dry.
