I don't know if you know this, but the Hurst after market shifter for the 1967-68 and the 1969 Camaro's, all the installation kit are based off the small block location...

The shifter mounting plates don't take into account the motor and trans being moved 1/2" forward and 1/2" to the right for the big block application...

Some people say there isn't a problem, then there are the people that call me for this very problem...

If you have a problem I have a mount that addresses this very problem for both the 1967-68 and the 1969 big block Camaro's for both the 27 spline and 32 spline tail housings
