Maybe Kieth would confirm more but I dont think any V engine actually got in a car for the public.I saw a 69 bird with MFG plates that had a complete SCCA short deck V in it.Have never seen a PHS that shows one.They made 50 complete 303 short deck SCCA engine with exhaust manifolds and all.The 400 version when sold from a dealer did not have exhaust manifolds on them.The 50 303s had smog pumps also,no 400s did.I really believe the 303 had a shot to be a car the public could have gotten if the program would have gone forward.FWIW,Tom
