Re: DZ Holley carb info needed

Core value on original DZ carbs these days is upwards of 300.00 to 400.00 in unrestored condition. I have sold a couple and if the carb is totally gone through and recolored in original methods, it...

Re: Why was Zedders topic locked? I had a nice reply?

The owners manuals for Canada are extremely rare and are very hard to find. So much so that I have only ever seen 2 originals on eBay, and I bought them both beacuse they are that rare. One was 65.00...

Re: Why was Zedders topic locked? I had a nice reply?

I guess you really weren't listening to what I was saying above Mark. Four out of the six pieces sold are GM originals Mark. Furthermore, the last couple pieces I have left are also originals and...

Re: Why was Zedders topic locked? I had a nice reply?

Sounds like an old Pre Delivery sheet a good friend gave me a couple years ago. It was sealed in a plastic sleeve and when I opened it, it had the same old smell and feel about it. I think it was...

Re: 68 BB Camaro with 140 Speedo, Yenko Hood on Ebay

On December 15th of 67, GM issued a zone letter indicating four colors were being dropped from production and four new colors were being added effective January 2nd 1968. The blue that was...

I see said the blind man. Thanks for the explanation Jeff. The link was killed within a couple hours of the items being offered as they sold quickly.

Why was Zedders topic locked? I had a nice reply?

Zedder,

Don't know why your thread was locked, I had a lengthy reply for you but it was locked before I could post. Maybe one of the admins could chime in. I was the one who had the documents...

Re: Code 40 Butternut Yellow Z/28 Pictures. Real ?

I guess there were many back then that paid no attention to trim tags. In any case, neat spread...but too bad about the repaint. Here is a picture of the one that got my noodle going on BY cars in...

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro Rallye Green

No Steve,

I was asking if that was the one you had recently purchased as the asking price for it was about 28K and then it ended within 24 hours of it being listed. I presume someone bought it...

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro Rallye Green

I purchased a real JL8 Z for what your asking, and possibly you did as well (wow things have changed). The dynamic of the market is changing from month to month.

Steve,

Would that happen to be...

Re: Petition GM for all GM car info ???

Steve,

I can appreciate that, but here is where my point of reference lays. If GM does in fact have records of the builds where they have claimed along that they don't, doesn't that open them up...

Re: 69 Yenko Camaro Rallye Green

There is no doubt in my mind that a Yenko should pull dollars in the 200 range if the car is real nice. The price of all Camaro models have jumped significantly in the past year, so much so that...

Re: Code 40 Butternut Yellow Z/28 Pictures. Real ?

It would be cool to find that article and see if it was a repaint or not. I don't know why i'm so affixed on the B/Y color right now, but it truly intriques me and I want one. I have only ever seen...

Re: Petition GM for all GM car info ???

I can appreciate both sides of this, but also think it will land on deaf ears at GM. I have a friend who talks with Jim quite often , and there is rumoured to be a warehouse full of old documents...

Code 40 Butternut Yellow Z/28 Pictures. Real ?

I mentioned in a recent post that I am looking for a butternut yellow 69 Z/28 and it brought about some questions whether they exist or not. Records show that GM made about 125 or so of them and I...

Re: 68 BB Camaro with 140 Speedo, Yenko Hood on Ebay

Charlie makes a good point on the VIN. Yes the color is Code D Grotto Blue. Same as this car that I just bought. For the record, this is an RS car cloned into a Z/28.

Re: New GM Approved Crossram Manifold for sale!!

Jim made that claim a couple months ago where he stated he would have a complete reproduction intake ready for sale the next week. What happened to that, and why did that marketing claim disappear?...

NHL Lockout - Are we watching players retire now?

Gotta wonder what's going to happen now with both the owners and players union reaching another stalemate. I am thinking that this is headed for an impasse where it will go well into 2005 before any...

Re: Wanted 1969 Camaro Z/28 in Code 10 / 40 / 76 Color

I remember Chelios and Iginla going at it right in front of me a few years ago. We have season tickets right to the side of the net and they scrapped about 3' away from me. Both got some good face...
