Like I said....Count the Teeth on the input GEAR, not the splines on the shaft. M-20 = 21. M-21/22 = 26.
The exception is the very early M-20 with 24 teeth.

Since you've already confirmed it's not an M-22, if you want to determine if it's an M-20, or M-21, simply count the teeth on the input shaft. 21 teeth = M-20, 26 teeth = M-21/22. The exception is...

68 Big Block casting date
Gentlemen,
I have a quesion regarding the date code on a 68 396 block I have for my 68 Chevelle SS. The build date on the trim tag is 03D.
THe Intake is dated B158, one head is B278, the other is...

You have 2 options...
There is an aftermarket "A/C Delete" heater box available.
I see them all the time on Evilbay. They don't look correct, but it does eliminate the A/C stuff, and covers the Big...

I Think the 3/8 fuel line w/return line indicates standard rochester 4 bbl...I could be wrong. Not 100%...

There's a guy back in my home town (Duluth Minn.)with a pretty neat 327 SBC powered Henery J. The guy built everything himself.
Motor was set back, custom firewall, interior, etc.

Looks like RS tail lts, but no Reverse lts in the lower valance....
It is odd that the spoiler is cut, and the ends moulded to the quarters, but the spoiler doesn't look like an original 68 piece...
